Transportation of Dangerous Goods

This course is designed to inform the trainee on the various Classifications, Hazard Classifications, Documentation and Emergency Contact Numbers as well as Handling and Storage of Dangerous goods.

The course covers all that is necessary when it comes to shipper’s responsibilities, carrier’s checklist, enforcement regulations, assembly instructions, carrier’s responsibilities and warehousing requirements.

The trainee will also be educated on all 9 classifications of dangerous goods including divisions, primary classes and subsidiary classes. As a group you will also create a shipping document and understand what is involved and why the components are necessary.

The reasoning behind this course is to is to ensure public safety in the transportation of dangerous goods by air, ground or sea.

The regulations were written to ensure that the proper information is passed on to any person who transports, offers for transport and handles dangerous goods.

COURSE LENGTH: UP TO 5 Hours

TESTING: Passing Grade of 80 percent

Upon passing and completion the trainee will receive a wallet card.
