This course consists of one on one practical instruction with one of our experienced trainers. The trainee will go through an overall orientation of the machine which includes pre-shift inspection, proper operation of the equipment & hazard identification.
During practical pre-shift inspection the trainee will be educated on key off & key on procedures. Key off will inform the trainee of the proper structural checks necessary to be performed before moving onto key on. Key on procedures will inform the trainee of the power on checks necessary to be performed before operating the machine.
Hazard identification educates the trainee on the specific hazards that he or she may encounter during daily operation of the specific equipment included and not limited to environmental hazards & pedestrian hazards.
On completion of the course the trainee with have the practical knowledge and the ability to operate the equipment safely and properly while performing the daily duties.
