The purpose of this course is to educate the trainees on Ontario’s accessibility laws. These laws are designed to remove barriers to accessibility for the purpose of improving access and opportunities for individuals with who have disabilities.
This course provides an overview of:
- the Ontario Human Right Code as it applies to people with disabilities
- the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the standards created within it
- the integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation
This program is created to help you and your company interact and communicate with people who have various disabilities as well as understand what to do if someone is having difficulty accessing a service.
